Leadership (Period 1)

This course is designed to equip students to become school and community leaders. Through participation in class projects and assignments, students will become professionals in the areas of business affairs, financial planning, event planning, and management. Students will demonstrate the commitment and responsibility required to be a leader both inside and outside the school and community. Students will function as business professionals by following Robert’s Rules of Order, practicing public speaking skills, and utilizing proper documentation. They will also engage in money handling while gaining deposit and requisition experience. They will execute effective and fiscally wise school functions while working together to build cooperation and spirit at their school and within their community.
