September 17-28 are official high school voter registration weeks.  Below is a 4-week calendar that you can use to guide you in making the most of those weeks, as well as a 10-week calendar that includes opportunities to help get out the vote.  
 
Week 1 (Sept. 4-7):  
Decide on format and location request and obtain whatever permissions you will need to hold your drive.  
Request voter registration forms from your county Registrar of Voters, list here
 
Week 2 (Sept. 10-14) Recruit volunteers
Training (here is a guide from the Secretary of State; you can sign up for a webinar here)
Plan publicity (great posters are herehere, and here.  Stickers are available from vendors online, including here).    
Week 3 (Sept. 17-21
Conduct further training
Start publicity, including posters and email or text blasts to students and parents
Recruit volunteers
Procure supplies (tables, pens, clip boards, water, candy and candy bowl, stickers)
 
Week 4 (Sept. 24-28)
More publicity
Hold voter registration drive
Mail in forms to County Registrar
September 25 is National Voter Registration Day.  
Week 5-7 (Oct. 1-19)
Follow up with email blasts to parents and students
Help students connect to get out the vote opportunities
Week 8-10 (Oct. 22-Nov.6)
Help students make a plan to vote
Help students connect to get out the vote opportunities and engage recent alumni.
