Course Description
The content and organization of this laboratory science class is designed to provide each student with an understanding of a wide range of topics in Chemistry. Themes to be studied in this course will include atomic and molecular structure, chemical bonds and biochemistry, kinetics and thermodynamics, chemical reactions and the conservation of matter, as well as the scientific method as it relates to investigation and experimentation. This class will also enhance a student's ability to think critically, problem solve, work successfully as part of a team, and to develop into a productive and responsible citizen.
