Spanish 3/4 (Period 7th)

Course Description

This one-year course is designed for the Spanish student who has completed Spanish 2 (or equivalent with teacher approval) and cares to continue studying the language and cultures of the Spanish-speaking world. At this level, students learn using a variety of methods incorporating listening, speaking, reading, and writing, with a focus on verbs, conjugations, tenses, and grammar, and using websites such as cnnespanol.cnn.com and spanishnewyork.com. Students participate in a comprehensive study of a Spanish-speaking country of their choice. Guest speakers are welcomed throughout the school year. This course may be repeated at the next level for credit. This one-year course meets the UC and CSU Requirement for E: Language other than English.
